Drug Smuggling from Syria Surges After Normalization

The Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs reported that drug smuggling from Syria increased following the recent rapprochement with Damascus. He also reckons that a third of shipments make it through (2/3 intercepted). The interception rate is hotly debated, so this is very good to know.
