Syria TV reports that Türkiye has mistakenly deported three Moroccans and four Afghans to northwest Syria since last year, believing them to be illegal Syrian refugees.
The latest case involves a Moroccan man detained in various Turkish refugee centers for five months before being deported to Jarablus, Syria. He was arrested near his home in Türkiye and couldn’t retrieve his official documents.
