A friend tells me he had to pay $12 USD to HTS and Syrian regime checkpoints ($4 & $8 respectively) to smuggle each 16-kg olive oil container from Idlib to Hama.
Each container costs up to $30 in Idlib: the extortion is 40% of the price.
