The Syrian Ministry of Education congratulated Assad's children on their performance in final exams on its official page today.

Don't worry, the children who outperformed them got a mention in the post, too.

At the beginning of the conflict, officials were clearly instructed to keep their talk about the Assads to a minimum. Most ministries and regime media outlets were talking about the homeland, not the Assads.

This has changed dramatically over the course of the conflict...

These days, the Assads present themselves just like the Kims of North Korea. They're great, benevolent, spontaneous, and more importantly, their photos are everywhere except for (public) toilets.
