An exceptional documentary from Syria TV on what was known as the "State Security Court" in Syria, with an interview with Faez al-Nouri, who was its head for the longest period.

It's astonishing how little care he shows for the number of executions he personally ordered:

Interviewer: How many executions have you ordered?

Al-Nouri: "Less than 'the number of fingers'... I executed once 19... no more than 19... I ruled on 18... the whole number does not exceed the fingers of two hands... I ruled 19 ... and ruled another two or three... I mean, they do not exceed 15... I mean, all of them do not exceed 40 rulings."
