Now that one of the influential people in the Syrian regime, Zoulhima Shalish, is dead, let's take the opportunity to congratulate OFAC on continually getting two of his basic information details wrong even though he's been sanctioned since 2005.

According to a document from Wikileaks, he accompanied Bashar al-Assad on his visit to Buenos Aires in 2010 and had the name Zoulhemma Shalish on his passport (not any of the seven aliases provided by OFAC).

More importantly, his date of birth is 1951, not 1956.
