Will the gas cylinder last until tomorrow’s meal?

To meet daily demand for 170,000 cylinders (1,700 tons), Syria now imports 93.5% of its cooking gas, with local production covering only 6.5%.
This supply relies on a few sea tankers at Baniyas port and daily truck convoys from Jordan. Unlike the gas used in power plants, this kitchen-bound LPG-Liquefied Petroleum Gas follows a much more fragile supply chain, making household stability vulnerable to logistics disruptions or black-market price hikes.
