The Ministry of Economy and Industry and the United Nations Development Programme, with support from the Government of Japan.

 

The conference included several discussion sessions bringing together public-sector and private-sector actors, as well as discussions among private-sector participants.

Key topics discussed included:

• The banking sector.
• Encouraging foreign investment.
• Trade.
• Business and investment networks in Syria.
• The relationship between economic recovery, accountability, and Syria’s broader future.
