Omar Barahmji, Chairman of the Damascus Securities Exchange, confirmed that the exchange, in coordination with the Syrian Commission on Financial Markets and Securities, is evaluating legislative updates to align with the International Organization of Securities Commissions principles.
These amendments aim to enhance transparency and investor protection, ensuring the market adapts to evolving economic environments.
