I am an Enhanced Due Diligence and Compliance Research Intern, where I support research and analytical work related to corporate due diligence, compliance, and risk assessment. My work includes conducting background research, analyzing corporate structures and potential risk factors, and reviewing publicly available information to support informed decision-making.
I am pursuing a double major in Political Science and Economics, with a minor in Religious Studies, at Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota. My previous experience includes research, journalism, fact-checking, fundraising, grant writing, and donor cultivation. I also serve as Chief Political Science Editor of the Macalester Street Journal.
Originally from Homs, Syria, I am particularly interested in political economy, governance, sanctions, and development in conflict-affected societies. My broader interests include public policy, diplomacy, and advancing evidence-based research on the Middle East.
